Thanks again for your reply. All wires are now as per the diagram. It was working fine all week and now it's not. Green starter is on the right terminal at ignition lock and regulator. All wires are in good condition. Could it be a problem with the regulator ? or possibly a bad earth somewhere ...

Hello , I followed your diagram and it worked perfectly. However , it has gone back to the same problem of not starting , which is why I bought a new Ignition lock. Am very confused. It started perfectly for a few days and now it's just the solenoid clicking at the regulator once again.

Yes , I do mean Ignition lock. Thanks for your replies. I actually re-wired the old ignition lock and the lighting works perfectly. So I think perhaps it may be a fault with the part ???
