Greetings to all, this my first post, concerns my search for some information concerning a missing part.

I have recently managed to acquire a very early Heinkel Kabine 150 BO, manufactured in 1956, which has a very low serial number, one of the first two thousand Cars made.
Totally original. never having been welded (anywhere) or repainted, it is unfortunately completely derelict, & requires a total restoration!
Luckily it is virtually complete, however it is missing it's original Rear Number Plate Lamp, the really small one (NOT the later Hella 12820 Lamp), & I would dearly love to locate one.
Could anyone more knowledgable than I, please confirm who made those original little Lamps, do they have a traceable part number, & are they still available anywhere?

I think I've got the missing part for you, NOS or used, you can choose.....

But the plastic cover is missing, maybe you'll try to find it later?

I can send you a picture if you give me a mailadress, this works well.

the small rear lamp, You´re looking for, is now recreated bei HELLA, the original supplier from the old times. In the latest news letter from the Heinkel Club it was announced, that there is a little contingent available for 38,- Euro. Club-intern Order-Number is 13.1445

Luckily, I managed to find & purchase a NOS Lamp about a month ago.

Unfortunately, I had to pay a handsome price for it too!

If only I had known what Hella were planning & waited a while, I would have saved myself a lot of money!

Hi Wurzell,

that´s the way it is... Do You know, why this little spare part is as expensive as it is? Heinkel was located in Stuttgart, like Porsche, too. So some parts fits also to very early and damned expensive Porsche Type 356, like Your little rear lamp... Another example: If You have a look at the locks of the rear motor flap: They are also locks for the softtop of 356 A/B Convertible at the windshield-frame...
